Lámurén × UAX: Echoes of Us

Echoes of Us was an intimate, sensory dining experience exploring the intersection of food, sound, and storytelling. Created in collaboration between Lamurén (a private dining brand) and UAX Studio (an artist-led sound project), the evening blended a multi-course Nigerian-inspired menu with curated music pairings and art direction that celebrated memory, connection, and emotion.

 

Guests moved through a narrative journey — each course ("track") was paired with a song reflecting themes like love, growth, healing, and identity. The experience invited reflection on moments of presence, gratitude, and connection through thoughtful visual, auditory, and culinary cues.

 

I led the creative direction and experience design, shaping every touchpoint from visual identity to tablescape styling to the experiential flow.

Creative Direction

The visual and spatial direction balanced warmth with intention — creating an atmosphere that felt intimate, grounded, and cinematic. Every detail was designed to support the narrative: candles for warmth, florals for texture, soft lighting to set the mood, and a trifold menu that doubled as a keepsake.

  • Tablescape & Environment: Sourced and styled florals, candles, and vases to create a textural, layered atmosphere

  • On-Site Styling: Set up the space, adjusted lighting/mood flow, and ensured visual consistency across dining and listening zones
